Every THL motorhome in NZ. One place to compare.
Maui (premium), Britz (mid), Apollo (value), Mighty (budget) — pick the layout that fits your trip, we handle the booking through Tourism Holdings.
You came here to drive a campervan around New Zealand. The four brands worth comparing — Maui, Britz, Apollo, and Mighty — are all under the same parent company (Tourism Holdings Limited), share the same depot network, and use overlapping fleets. Which one suits you comes down to budget, vehicle age, and the layout features that matter for your travelling group.
This site exists because nobody compares the THL brands side-by-side in one place. We list every current NZ motorhome layout, group them by berth count, and link to the routes and destinations they'll actually be useful on.

Frequently asked
Why book through NZ Camper Hire instead of going direct to Maui or Britz?
You see every layout across all four THL brands on one comparison page. Going direct, you'd open four separate sites and re-enter the same dates four times. The final booking still goes through THL's standard system, so the price you pay matches what they'd quote you directly.
Is this site officially affiliated with Tourism Holdings (THL)?
We're an independent authorised reseller. The four brands — Maui, Britz, Apollo, and Mighty — are all owned by THL, and bookings are confirmed and operated by THL. We do the matching and trip-planning work; THL operates the depots, runs the fleet, and handles pickup.
When do I pay?
Not at the quote stage. Once we send a quote and you choose a vehicle, THL takes payment through their standard process — usually a deposit at booking and the balance closer to pickup. You're protected by their standard rental terms.
Can I pick up in one city and drop off in another?
Yes. One-way rentals between Auckland, Christchurch, and Queenstown are standard for Maui, Britz, Apollo, and Mighty. There's usually a one-way fee that varies by season — tell us your plan and we'll include it in the quote.
Ready for a NZ road trip?
Tell us your dates, pickup city, and how many travellers. We come back with a same-business-day quote across Maui, Britz, Apollo, and Mighty.
